Las Vegas, NV(May 16, 2014) – “The Voice” has announced the season six top three finalists who will join the current lineup for the highly anticipated THE VOICE 2014 SUMMER TOUR. The tour launches on Saturday, June 21 and stops at The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino on Friday, July 25.
The tour’s confirmed finalists include Christina Grimmie, who has more than 2 million subscribers on YouTube; Josh Kaufman, who received a four-chair turn-around; and country singer Jake Worthington. Jake Barker will also be joining the lineup. His blind audition of “When I Was Your Man” earned an impressive 1.791 million plus hits on YouTube and helped secure him a surprise invitation by the tour as one of nine performers hitting the road this summer. Audiences can vote to help determine which current artist from season six will be named “fan favorite artist” and join the lineup. Additional artists confirmed for The Voice Tour are season five champ, Tessanne Chin, who is working on her debut album; teen soul-pop artist Jacquie Lee, who recently released her single “Broken Ones”; and vocal powerhouse Will Champlin, whose single “Eye of the Pyramid” is already a fan favorite. In addition, Dia Frampton from season one is also confirmed.
The Voice Tour will have some unique and creative elements added to the show to make this more than just a concert. In select markets, fans will get to watch and vote on blind auditions with three lucky local participants performing on stage. Also in select markets, THE VOICE TOUR will bring back local alumni to perform with the touring artists. There will also be never-before-seen surprise duets and group numbers. The show’s signature red chair will even make an appearance onsite.
